Christmas Mincemeat Flapjacks

Ingredients

  • 425 grams organic oats
  • 175 grams butter (unsalted optional)
  • 300 grams Syrup (Maple/Golden/Honey)
  • 320 grams The Butler's Pantry Jar of Mincemeat (Either our Luxury or Apricot)

This is a delicious festive treat using a jar of our handmade mincemeat with a simple flapjack recipe. Enjoy the waft of Christmas all around the house!

  1. Mix the oats and seeds together in a large bowl and then stir in your melted butter and syrup (You can melt this in a pot over the hob on a low heat).
  2. Press half this mixture into the base of a 30 cm x 17 cm x 2 cm tin. Spread the mincemeat over this and then carefully scatter the remaining mixture over the top.
  3. Bake in a pre-heated oven 180 degrees C/gas 4 for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Allow to cool before slicing into bars. Store in an air-tight container. Enjoy :-)
